Around East Cobb
The production of Mulan, by the fourth and fifth grade chorus, brings honor to Kincaid Elementary School. This Disney Jr. Broadway musical was directed by Mr. Pete Bush. It was a thrilling performance with marvelous scenery, props, and costumes donated by the parents at Kincaid. Mr. Bush donated his time after school to rehearse with the 60 students in the chorus. He was assisted by Mrs. Mandy Robertson, fourth grade teacher, and Mrs. Debra Horton, fifth grade teacher. Mr. Bush gave the students the confidence to use their natural talents to perform in front of an audience. Through the character education program emphasized at Kincaid, students experienced the opportunity to work hard together as a team and to be committed to making this production the great success it was for Kincaid as well as for the performers.
