Around East Cobb
Spring is almost here! It is an exciting time of growth and renewal for our community. We see this growth reflected in nature, in our homes, and in our families. You will see it reflected in Around Town East Cobb as we celebrate life throughout this issue. Beginning on page 21 you can find ideas to renovate, decorate, and landscape along with the businesses to provide the assistance and products you need. This Special Home and Garden Section includes several drought-friendly tips to maintain life in your yard while complying with Level 4 drought-regulated water standards. On the cover this month is Sprayberry Academy located at 2110 Post Oak Tritt Road. Sprayberry Academy’s dedicated staff, teachers, and co-teachers have a great passion for educating young children focusing not only on the development of the children’s mind, but also on their physical and emotional growth. Sprayberry Academy is now enrolling for 2008 — 2009 Georgia Pre-K classes. For details, please see pages 16 and 17. Remember Scouting Month with us on pages 32 and 33. Scouting provided a great opportunity for a country boy like me to learn skills and see the world. Now it helps provide an opportunity for youth growing up in suburban communities to learn skills and receive positive messages that might not be available without the Scouts. If you are an adult that helps make this possible, thank you! If you are looking for a church to participate with for Easter Services, we have done our best to find several. On page 40 is a listing of Easter Services for our area. Maybe you will find a new start on a new life with a new community. Our culture has changed; digital photography has become a part of our everyday experiences.
