Just Flowers, Etc. is co-owned by Kat and Arthur Herman. Kat has grown up in the floral industry. Kat's grandma, Ola, first opened her flower shop in 1956 in Davison, Michigan, which Kat's mother, Marlene, still owns. Kat recalls, "When you get old enough, you just start poking flowers into vases. You start as a baby, and you grow into this industry, and that's what I've done and what my kids have done, and what my granddaughter is doing." Just Flowers, Etc. has been in the East Cobb community for 24 years. After Kat moved to Georgia, she bought the flower shop and has owned the business for approximately four years. Just Flowers, Etc. is a family-run business. Kat along with her daughter Heather and granddaughter Gracie make the flower arrangements. Elizabeth Barns and Kat's son Greg do the deliveries, and Kat's husband Arthur does the bookkeeping.
